Catholic Schools Week
Catholic Schools Week 2025!
National Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. CSW runs from the last Sunday in January through the following Saturday. At the request of NCEA membership, a second week was added for Catholic schools to leverage their good news in a national initiative: Discover Catholic Schools Week (DCSW). This year, DCSW is November 17 - 23, 2024, designed to help schools connect with prospective families, donors, educators and community members. Use this week to showcase what makes Catholic schools—your Catholic school—the best. Knowing what makes your school unique is exactly what families need to discover when searching for the right school.
From January 26 - February 1, 2025, NCEA continues hosting the traditional Celebrate Catholic Schools Week. Schools typically observe the week with Masses, assemblies, events and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members to join the celebration around what makes Catholic schools stellar. Make DCSW and CSW your own and share your ideas with NCEA and other schools using #CSW2025 and nceatalk@ncea.org, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X. The theme Catholic Schools: United in Faith and Community will be used through 2026.
REMINDER: Many Gifts, One Nation will be a part of CSW and run from January 29 - January 30, 2025. This 24-hour dedicated day of giving can be an amazing fundraiser for your school. Check out the Marketing Kit for ideas on making Many Gifts, One Nation a powerful funding tool. Please stay tuned for more information on this day of giving to Catholic schools in partnership with BetterWorld.
