Welcome Weekend
Welcome Weekend
Changing Lives. Transforming Parishes.
Most of the people you see every day feel like something is missing in their lives. Welcome is an incredible experience that helps them discover what that something is—and what to do about it. It’s run by parishioners for parishioners, and it’s re-energizing parishes across the country.
What is Welcome (CRHP 2.0)?
Welcome (CHRP 2.0) is an incredible experience that will help you discover what’s missing in your life and what to do about it. Your Welcome weekend will help you make sense of your life, help you develop lasting friendships with other men/women of Holy Family, and will fill you with new energy and purpose.
Every member of the Parish is invited to attend. Men and women participate on different weekends. Suggested age is 21 and older. Each weekend will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and will end by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Men’s weekend will be April 22-23, 2023
Women’s weekend is TBD
What Happens During the Weekend?
Come prepared to have FUN and to renew your heart. Do you sometimes feel you are alone in your struggles? Through various witnesses and discussions, you will find others who are dealing with the same issues. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will leave a different person.
Where Do People Sleep?
Sleeping accommodations in the “Holy Family Hilton” are a bit unique. You need to bring a sleeping bag, air mattress, foam mattress, etc. Bring your own pillow and bedding, along with a towel and other toiletries that you might need. Remember, there is only one night’s sleep.
What About Meals?
Meals will be provided by volunteers. You will not need to bring any food for yourself. There are regular breaks for cold drinks, coffee and snacks. If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know on a note with your registration form.
Can I afford the Cost of the Weekend?
Absolutely YES! The Renewal Weekend is a gift from the presenting team. No one in attendance will be solicited for funds. However, any private and/or anonymous donations will be gratefully accepted.
